Alki Cove 2, Alki Beach Seattle, WA.

$75.00 General
  • This is the most popular of the Alki dive sites and an all-around great dive park. It is protected from major currents and has lots of life in shallow water. You can find a decent-sized boat called the Honey Bear about 35 ft, near the base of a bunch of pilings that are angled out of the bottom. Several other piles of boulders and Pilings are scattered around this site. Harbor seals are well known and love to swim with divers here.
  • Alki Cove 2 is a shore-accessible saltwater dive site, located in Seattle, WA. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 31-35ft/9-11m.
  • More experienced divers can venture to deeper depths to see the I-beams, telephone poles, and other sunken items, such as coal mine carts, and a bottle field where an octopus can be typically found.

Les Davis Pier, Tacoma, WA.

$75.00 General
  • Les Davis Pier is a shore-accessible saltwater dive site, located at Ruston Way, Tacoma, WA. The maximum depth is 121-130ft/37-40m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.
  • This site exhibits a healthy marine environment and the pier (to the east of the divers’ entry point) is popular with sport fishermen. Divers should have no difficulty avoiding the pier. Access to the beach requires climbing down a pile of concrete blocks that have settled and now provide uncertain footing for a heavily burdened diver. Soon after entry, the diver may see moon snails, sea pens, sunflower stars, blood stars, alabaster nudibranchs, and a great variety of Northwestern marine life. In deeper water, there are sections of concrete roadway that provide hiding places for many vulnerable species and a fortunate diver may find a shy octopus. You will certainly find rockfish, lingcod, and cabezon. As the diver moves away from shore, the bottom slopes more sharply, and depths will exceed 100 feet. This is a deservedly popular site for recently certified and advanced divers alike.
  • Great site for new and experienced divers. Ample parking, concessions, and restrooms on-site. Artificial reefs with a variety of life for photographers. Beach entry via a new concrete stairway.

Three Tree Point, Burien WA.

$75.00 General
  • Three Tree Point North is a saltwater dive site, located in Burien, WA.
  • The diversity of various man-made structures, small boat wrecks, and urban remains at this site is intriguing, and you never know quite what you’ll find living here. The artificial reefs run parallel to shore at two depths and divers of all experience levels can find something to enjoy there, or in shallow eel grass near the shore. Currents are moderate and tend to run southward, it can be dived at times other than slack and is a good destination when south winds are blowing.
